We believe that fostering a love for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in grades K-12 will give children the confidence they need to excel in these fields.
For over 2 decades, Mad Science of DFW has focused on designing and delivering innovative hands-on STEM maker programs and services to families, community organizations and educational institutions.
We also extend our impact through our unique relationships with NASA, LEGO, OZOBOT, SNAP CIRCUITS, OWI and many others.
Amazing ElecTRICKS
We open the world of electronics to 3rd+ graders with our Amazing ElecTRICKS project based learning program! The program combines our maker prowess and curriculum with technology from SNAP CIRCUITS, an industry leader, to teach and expand a student's knowledge of electronics, circuits, and design. Students work on several hands-on and take-home projects and make things that actually work.

Advanced Robotics with LEGO!
Come, hop on the MAKER train! The LEGO Mindstorms platform is a cutting-edge project based learning system for the emerging inventor, designer, tinkerer, artist, and the budding engineer. Designed by LEGO, it is integrated into the proven hands-on delivery model pioneered by Mad Science.
Working in small groups, students learn to work on progressively complex projects while also learning about design principles, work decomposition, teamwork and communications techniques!
Chemistry for a Green World!
What are crystals? How are they formed? What makes them unique?... these are often the types of questions asked by a curious young mind. At Mad Science, we have the answers. Answers that not only satisfy their curiosity but transforms it to a passion for more knowledge and understanding.
Students grow their own crystals in a Mad Science STEM enrichment program, offered both as a workshop and as part of a seasonal or summer camp.

Fall 2026 Afterschool Care
Mad Science afterschool care is our extended enrichment program where your child benefits from both a traditional afterschool care until 6:00 PM with a Science themed core. These are affordable, engaging and strengthen your child for STEM skills of the future.

Each year we serve thousands of students in our STEM themed birthday parties, holiday programs, after-school maker labs, seasonal and summer camps and immersive one-on-one programs.
For Schools
We bring STEM alive at your campus! We stock over 200 distinct TEKS aligned hands-on enrichment modules spanning Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Technology disciplines.
We don't replace campus teachers - we extend their reach and impact with our after-school labs, in- school workshops, STEM assemblies, Fun booths and more!
For Organizations
We partner with Public School districts, Charter organizations, Private schools, Early Childhood Centers, Cities, Parks & Recreation facilities, Libraries and Community Learning Centers in the DFW metroplex to deliver STEM programs.
We are also approved by TEA (Texas Education Agency) to provide STEM Professional Development to Texas educators.
