How do I sign up my child for the program?

Program sign up is made easy through an on-line enrollment system on our website. Click on the "register now" buttons to navigate to the enrollment page. Instructions will be given during enrollment. Also, reach us via email at info.request@msgdallas.com

How long will each session last?

Each session lasts 45 minutes. The AM (morning) block and a PM (afternoon) block are repeats. For instance, the grade 6 session is from 8:00 Am to 8:45 AM (AM Block). The grade 7 session follows at 9:00 AM and the grade 8 session starts at 11:00 AM. PM sessions start at 1:00 PM and end at 3:45 PM (a repeat of AM Block).

How can a School district, Charter school, or Private school can sign up for the program?

Program sign up is made easy through the use of a Purchase Order. We are EPCNT (Educational Procurement Cooperative of North Texas) validated provider with established RFP pricing for the program. We are ready to provide a quote with approved unit-pricing, avoiding the need for a lengthy RFP process. Email us at info.request@msgdallas.com.

How much does a session cost?

A session costs less than $5 per student for parents. A parent-purchased 5- session-pack provides 5 invitation-based classes (i.e., 1 week either in the AM or PM block) for $24.95. A student enrolls in one session in one block, M-F. Institutional prices are established by RFP process, validated through co-operative purchasing via EPCNT.

What TEKS are covered in the program?

During the Spring semester, the program will cover Block 3 (Organisms and Environment) and Block 4 (Earth and Space); Scope, Sequence and lesson pacing will be somewhat similar to one used at a typical Middle School campus. TEKS concepts are scaffolded and progressively reinforced with experiments and demonstrations.

Do institutions receive additional services and metrics for their students?

Yes. Mad Science will organize session-invitations by home-room teacher and send these directly to them for posting in (say) Google Classrooms. Students also receive an online 'post-session-assessment form' to be completed. the results are returned back to the teacher or other authorized individuals at the campus /district.
